About Us

A studio built on the belief that details matter.

The Little Details is a Mumbai-based interior design studio. We create homes that feel considered, personal, and quietly enduring — spaces shaped around how people actually live.

Our work is primarily residential. We take on a limited number of projects at a time, which means we remain closely involved from the first conversation to the final detail.

We are drawn to the kind of design that doesn't announce itself — where the thought behind a space is felt before it is seen.

Design Philosophy

Thoughtful, not minimal. Layered, not loud.

We believe a well-designed home should feel effortless to live in — not because it is simple, but because every decision has been made carefully.

Our interiors are built from a layered approach: spatial planning that creates ease and flow, materials chosen for how they feel as much as how they look, and a final layer of detail that gives a space its character.

We design for people, not photographs. A home succeeds when the people in it feel good — when they come back to it after a long day and something in them settles.

About The Founder

Jesal Lodha

Jesal is the founder and principal designer of The Little Details, with over a decade of experience across residential and commercial interiors.

Her practice began in corporate design — offices, workspaces, environments built around function and impression. Residential design asked something different of her, and that shift shaped everything that followed.

She works closely with each client, approaching every project as a balance of structure, warmth, and the small decisions that make a home feel like itself.

Our Approach

Close collaboration. From concept to completion.

Every project begins with understanding — the client, their daily rhythms, how they want to feel in their home. This shapes everything that follows.

From spatial planning and material selection through to final styling, each stage is developed with care and continuity. We don't hand off — we stay involved.

The process is structured but never rigid. Some of the best decisions in a project happen in the room, in conversation, when something unexpected turns out to be exactly right.
