3200 sqft, Mumbai. A warm, layered home defined by rich tones, textured surfaces, and a confident material palette. Designed as a primary residence, it was the first home I designed after years in corporate interiors — and the project that taught me what residential design truly asks of a designer.
Each room holds its own character while remaining connected through a consistent warmth. The living areas are inviting and social. Private spaces feel restful and personal. The vertical garden on the balcony brings the outside in, and the layered rugs and venetian plaster add depth without noise.
Bold by the standards of my work today — and entirely right for where I was at the time.
